The following procedures are in place to ensure you have a safe, enjoyable experience at Norfolk Padel’s Golf Simulator.

  • Always adhere to all on-screen and posted safety instructions while using the simulator.
  • Before swinging a club, check your surroundings, including monitors, computers, the projector wall, and other people, to ensure there are no obstacles or individuals within your swing range.
  • Players are responsible for maintaining the equipment inside the simulator. Any damage caused due to failure to follow these rules will be the financial responsibility of the customer.
  • No golf shoes – please use trainers
  • Please use the golf balls provided

Safety Rules

  • Clubs must only be swung inside the designated simulator swinging area which is defined as when the ball is placed in the correct striking zone and the player is in the darker coloured floor area
  • Only one person should be in the hitting area at a time. Others must maintain a safe distance, staying in the seated area at the rear of the golf simulator behind the bar.
  • Anyone not playing should remain constantly aware of the golfer and should be behind the bar area. The only person permitted to be outside the bar seating area when a player is striking the ball is a golf pro.
  • Only when the player who has just played their shot has returned to the seating area should the next player move forward to the playing area.
  • Stay alert. Swinging clubs near others or balls exiting the bay at high speeds can be dangerous.
  • Always check your surroundings before swinging a club to avoid striking people or objects.
  • Be mindful of both your backswing and follow-through.
  • Shots must be directed toward the hitting screen.
  • All swings, including practice swings, should take place within the designated hitting area.
  • Be cautious of your positioning and avoid standing or walking within another player’s swing range.
  • We ask that you don’t use 60 degree lob wedges as there is a significant risk of damage to the overhead technology.
  • Similarly, we ask that you don’t use a high tee when teeing off with a club that tends to sky the ball as it poses a significant risk of damage to the overhead technology
  • Report any accidents immediately.

Additional Guidelines:

  • The Norfolk Padel Golf Simulator is under video surveillance. Tampering with cameras or causing damage due to improper use will require financial compensation.
  • No food or drinks are allowed inside the simulator area.
  • While we strive to let you complete your “last hole,” if another group is scheduled after you, the simulator will be transitioned to them promptly at the end of your booking time.
  • Failure to follow these rules may result in the cancellation of your remaining simulator time without a refund.

Thank you for following these guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
